We start with materials chosen for quiet quality: ostrich feathers hand-picked for their fullness and resilience, silk sourced for its soft drape and colorfastness (so hues stay rich, even after countless stage changes), and fan ribs crafted from premium plastic or aluminum—plastic for lightweight flexibility that glides open effortlessly, aluminum for sturdy support that keeps shape through bold spins, both finished with smooth edges to feel comfortable against your palms.
Every step is done with intention: feather layers stitched with tiny, even knots (no loose threads to distract), silk edges finished by hand (Without harsh machine hems), and each piece checked twice—first by our craft team, then by a burlesque artist— to make sure it moves as well as it looks.
